Hello

I’m Tina Gordley, a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP), certified through the Nutritional Therapy Association. At the heart of all I do is a client-centered process that uplifts and supports YOU—encouraging you to step into a version of yourself you may not have thought was possible.

My Story

I’ve been passionate about nutrition for as long as I can remember. Over the years, I’ve explored it all—calorie counting, elimination diets, raw food, vegan, vegetarian, keto, paleo, even carnivore. I know firsthand what it’s like to chase results through trial and error and to struggle with understanding my body's signals. In many ways, I feel as though I’ve turned over every stone when it comes to the art of eating.

Now, in my mid-40s, I’ve come to believe that the most sustainable path is a no-nonsense, nutrient-dense, whole-foods approach—one that’s personalized to meet each person’s current needs, in alignment with their genetics and unique gut microbiome.

My Background

I was raised in Pennsylvania by nurturing and dependable parents who ran a farm market. Our family values were clear: fear God, live with integrity, work hard, and treat others as we would want to be treated. These roots shaped my character and my love for wholesome food and community.

When I was 19 years old I married my one-of-a-kind husband, Andy. We became parents in 2003 and now have 6 children. We worked as state-side missionaries in para-church youth ministry  until 2010 when we moved to Costa Rica to run a gap year program. In 2020, the gap year program closed and Andy started Atlas Travel and Study Abroad. Atlas is still based in Costa Rica and has a gap year program as well as hosts educational and ministry groups. Throughout the years, I have enjoyed working alongside my husband by mentoring and connecting with others through hospitality. In 2016 I decided to go back to school to finish my bachelor's degree. I graduated from Lancaster Bible College in 2018. One of my main takeaways from that academic journey was that I wanted to keep on learning. I began working as a teacher at our kids' Christian school (Liberty Christian Academy) until our youngest son was born in 2020. As much as I loved teaching, I knew there was something else I was meant to do. It took a while for me to figure it out...I was busy with my family and keeping life going, so it wasn't until Spring of 2024 when I met a nutritional therapist practitioner in Costa Rica named Ashley. After I learned about her work, I knew nutritional therapy was for me. Being an NTP seems to combines all my passions: nutrition, coaching and teaching, food preparation and recipe creation, writing content as well as speaking and networking!

My Family

Being a wife and mother has been my focus for a very long time. I’ve been married to my husband, Andy, for 25 years. Together we’ve spent the past 15 years living abroad in Costa Rica, working with a GAP Year program and building partnerships with churches and organizations dedicated to uplifting and guiding others. We’re also the proud parents of six children and one wonderful daughter-in-law.
